Corona SDK Contest Winner…
Posted on November 28th, 2011 1 commentAnd the winner is…no one.
Looking at the submissions, I’ve decided that none of them are going to be worthwhile to publish on the market. I wanted to let everyone know. Usually there is a winner in a contest, but I think this time…it’s worth saving the SDK license for another occasion.
The folks that submitted a .apk to the contest are welcome to contest the final results 🙂
Maybe there should be a more drawn-out contest? Maybe something month long? I’m open to suggestions. Let me know what you think 🙂

Free Friday: Corona SDK Contest
Posted on November 11th, 2011 4 commentsHey folks,
Ansca Mobile was nice enough to donate a pro version of the Corona SDK to the show.
We’re going to have a contest to determine who wins the copy.
Basically, anyone that submits a mobile game idea/concept/almost-completed/completed project by 5 pm on Monday will be considered for the prize.
The team that wins the copy will be the submission that is most likely to have a successful mobile game on the market. Here’s a hint, the closer you are to having a solid game completed, the better your chances are of winning.
The great thing about Corona is that it allows you to literally make a game in a few hours. So you can complete a solid game for submission before Monday 🙂
Enjoy and feel free to ask contest clarifications in the comments below 🙂
